“ We walked in at 2:30 in the afternoon, full of hunger. The staff greeted us warmly into a booth seat and took our order as soon as we were ready. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan and the Penne Al Salmone. The food was amazing, full of taste! “ Madison Winter Restaurant Week 2025 I went to Nonno's last Wednesday (01/22) in search of a great Italian spot to try, and I’m so glad I decided to eat here. The service was quick, and it wasn’t as crowded as I expected, given that it was Restaurant Week (though that might have been due to the snowy road conditions in Madison at the time). For their lunch Restaurant Week menu, it was a three-course prix fixe meal for 20. I got the Clam Chowder Soup, Manticotti con Carne, and Lemon Cake. I enjoyed every bite. And even moreso, the first two were already filling that I had to take my dessert to go! If you’re ever in the area and craving delicious Italian food, I’d definitely recommend giving Nonno’s a try ”

It was the best Italian food we’ve had in the Madison area ever. My parents used to live in Italy and the food was comparable to what we would eat in Italy.
